Goal Setting for the New Year

Instead of just jumping right into things this year I've decided to slow down and re-focus during the month of January. With a very busy Holiday season and being out of town for a week, I haven't had the time or head-space to really think about my goals for 2014. But, I received Lara Casey's Powersheets for Christmas (thank you Danielle!), and I've been working on them this past week and hope to finish before the weekend. I love them so far! They are hard work, but can't wait to see how they … [Read more...]

Busy Good, Busy Bad

It's been a good busy these last few weeks. I'm really enjoying a steady stream of photography sessions. Such as this fun family in my latest family session. Yep, mark your calendars for December 7th, 2013 everyone.  I did it!  I just signed up for a booth at the Elder Street Art Market! Every year my church, Ecclesia Houston, hosts an Art Market at the beginning of December and 20% of all of vendor's profits go to Advent Conspiracy. For the last three years I have gone to this market and walked around wishing I was a part of it, thinking to myself I could totally do this and it would be fun.  I love making art, crafts, jewelry! But I let the … [Read more...]

May o’ My

Physically I've been back from our yearly family trip to Gulf Shores for almost a week now, mentally I really want to stay in vacation mode. It's been hard to snap out of it and get some things done, like work on this blog, think about the up coming school year and so on... And, to make matters even harder, it's been wonderfully rainy. All I want to do is read or think about craft projects. Is that so wrong? Oh well. I have little less than a month left before I have to go back to … [Read more...]
