This month I purposed to do two acts of kindness. First I decided to write thank you notes! There have been many people in my life that have loved, encouraged, or pushed me, molding me into the person I am today. I often think of them in certain situations and am filled with gratitude for the time they invested in me. But, rarely do I get the chance to tell them. So instead of just thinking about how thankful I am for their influence in my life, I decided to write them thank you letters.
They weren’t necessary long or elaborate, but I hope they convey how much I appreciate them.
For my second act I put together a care package for a far away friend. It’s nothing big or fancy, but it’s all items that I think she’ll love and are defiantly from my heart. (I’m not showing you what I sent because it hasn’t been received yet and I don’t want to ruin the surprise!) You know what your far away friend would enjoy though. So gather up a few items, put them in a box with some fun tissue paper and pop it in the mail. I’m sure you’ll bring a smile to their face!
Did you get a chance to do anything yet? If you did, don’t forget to let me know! Remember, they don’t have to be big or expensive, just purposefully kind.
